Labeling apparatus

A labeling apparatus for attaching labels on packages is supposed to work exactly and rapidly. What is required is perfect matching of the speed the packages are conveyed at and the speed by which the labeling strip is rolled off. This is made possible by the electronic cam disk function that is integrated in our ND42 servo converter.

Depending on the production speed, a production line may be equipped with several labeling units. The example given below shows two labeling stations, each one controlled by a ND42 servo inverter.
A third servo converter controls the conveyor belt. All three servo converters are accommodated in one compact case.

High dynamic is provided by our NHR servo motors again.

The machine is interconnected over a bus system. Our devices use various protocols: CAN, CANopen, Profibus and the self-developed NOVOBUS.
